FLAT HEAD FLANGING - Model 8 Flanger
Flat head flanging is a standard operation of the Model 8 Flanger. A Flat Head Roll is placed on the machine in order to flange a flat head. The Flat Head Roll mounts on the Upper Roll Hub which in turn mount on the Main Drive Shaft.

Place a flat circle on a Standard Lower Center, or on a Compound Lower Center. Standard tooling for holding the flat circle on the Model 8 Flanger is a 1" diameter Center Pin.
