Blue Valley Tube Flanging Machines
If your current manufacturing process requires you to weld rolled angles on to the ends of your tubes, Blue Valley can save you time and money.
Since 1965, Blue Valley has been building a specialty machine that is used widely by tube axial fan manufacturers and a variety of other industries that require a fabricated, flanged tube in their product line.
A Blue Valley Tube Flanger can help you to eliminate the time consuming, labor-intensive welding process of placing rings on tubes with a clean and precise flange on one or both ends of the tube. A flanged tube also has a neater, leaner appearance . . . the sign of a superior quality finished product.
As to the matter of the flange height, we suggest that you consider a maximum flange height that is about 6-7% of diameter. For example, a 30" diameter tube would allow a maximum flange height of about 1 3/4" / 45 mm - 2 1/8" / 53 mm. As the diameter and thickness of a tube being flanged decreases, so will the height of the flange.
All of our tube flangers use pressure compensated hydraulic pumps.
The "pinch" of the inside of the tube is controlled by the use of of a pressure reducing/ relieving valve for the work stroke of the pressure cylinder.
